Tanganyika Wilderness Safari

Resting at the foot of Mount Meru, the sprawling city of Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania. It serves as an excellent base from which to explore the remarkably scenic surrounding area which includes majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, as well as the Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro National Parks. Lake Masek Tented Camp is located by the shores of Lake Masek, right between the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park and the northwest side of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and only a two hour tour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge’s Museum. Accommodation is in 30 Luxury Tents with either king-size or twin beds. There is cozy main house with a magnificent lounge with a well furbished library and relaxing restaurant. The lodge is eco-friendly as all power is supplied by solar electricity and water is harvested during the rainy season and collected for use. This unique location is home to the Wildebeest Migration from December to April each year. There are resident big 5 game year all round.
