Situated in along the Nairobi River in beautiful Kenya, the capital of Nairobi is East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. It serves as an excellent starting point for African safari trips around Kenya. Located in the peace and quiet of Karen, House of Waine still retains much of the charm of a family home. Guests are assured of a relaxed and informal atmosphere where they can be free to do as much or as little as they like. Upon entering the gates one is transported to another place, one with a gentler, quieter pace, a private retreat where the only noise one will usually hear will be the sound of the local birdlife.
Sandwiched between Mount Kenya and the northern deserts, Laikipia is where Kenya’s wild and semi-arid northern frontier country begins. Situated at one of Laikipia’s highest points, Ol Lentille consists of four luxurious villas which can host a maximum of 16 guests. Each villa is complemented by its own private staff, guide and safari vehicle. The lodge overlooks 40,000 exclusive acres of breathtaking African wilderness. With the land (and the lodge) owned by the local Maasai communities, guests enjoy unparalleled access to a deeply immersive cultural experience.
The Masai Mara together with Tanzania’s Serengeti form Africa’s most famous wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp is situated in an unspoiled setting with sunset views stretching to distant horizons of the Masai Mara and the Serengeti plains covered in boundless game. The Camp has its own 6,000 acre private conservancy and 9 tents in total (one unique honeymoon tent, four double tents and four family suites), all with ensuite bathrooms.
The Kenyan Coastline is a tropical paradise where palm-fringed white-sand beaches welcome visitors who come for the tropical weather, the teeming coral reefs, world-class fishing and to be embraced by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The African designed villas at Alfajiri with high makuti roofs, located few steps away from the beach, offers the ultimate in beachfront luxury. Designed to feel like a home away from home, the villa is decorated with handmade hardwood furnishings and is surrounded by lush palm gardens for maximum privacy. Sea breezes gently flow through the open living area under a makuti roof, okra floor, wooden beams and impressive artifacts. Your private overflowing swimming pool sits right in front of your veranda merging into the ocean and the horizon.
